Stigma Masters live in the major cities of the Aion world, and they provide services such as advises on the equipment of the Stigma stones. And if you really want your stones, you can not bypass them. Some Stigma shards are needed to equip your stones, and the amount varies due to the level of the skill you wish to enhance.
If you want to cancel the equipment done previously, you would loss the Stigma and you have to grind again for future use.
